Hmm, the report... well, where should I begin...  We started good, although due to me playing for the rogue goblins for the first time, my clearing phase was lame. Eskild did a very good job, running forth with the high-level leader. At some point we've made a bad move and Earl was able to ambush Eskild's main force, destroying it. His main stack (later we called it "doomstack" with the Eskild) had a Theo leader, that had divine justicars, therefore, after this ambush, level of the units rocketed to champions. Meanwhile I had my tensions with Gladis, we were warring for the neat city between us, luckily in the end I managed to control it, and found one more, that Gladis vasalized.  Earl started to pressure Eskild with his doomstack from the east, Gladis's scouts helped to do the job. At this stage I was rushing my research, as well as improving cities. Eventually Eskild tried to ambush 10 or 12 Earl's units with the 17 or 18 of his own. Surprisingly one or two units from doomstack survived, that allowed justicats to kick in. Eskild lost one of his 4 cities, that was burnt by Earl.  They retreated for couple of turns, and we thought we're ok for a while.  To be honest, I did clearing terribly, was loosing units even on middle-strength sites. I've tamed naga dwelling, while Eskild tamed DragonDwelling. (later I found out Earl had Merfolk dwelling vasalized)  Back to the point - Gladis had invaded my lands once again from the southwest, and in order to scare him off, I had to keep my troops nearby. And Earl used this opportunity to continue harassing Eskild. Finally I had sent some troops in the Eskild's direction, and that was the moment when Earl had attacked from the south as well. My lack of scouts had led me to being ambushed and killed - leader in the void. These were the critical moments, when some additional casts, might change the tides. To cut story short, I had went to help Eskild one more time, but was too late - Earl and Gladis had joined forces in the sound, raized my Naga Dwelling and went northeast - to finnish off Eskild. When I realized I will not make it in time, I've rerooted my forces, bringing some reinforcements along the way and went for the Gladis's cities. Hit the middle one in the south and then split my stacks to take the other two. Raised two of the cities, which backfired a lot, since they were goblin cities + I had lost neutral status. Then had rooted leader stack back home, while pressuring for Earl's cities in the southeast. Earl had emerged next to my capitol, but I had already prepared for it, ambushing his forces in the process. don't remember the exact details, but have won that fight. Eskild was left with two or even one city by that time, and was preparing for the heavy siege, I supported him with finances and mana as much as I could (it's surprising how much goblins love money ). I rushed towards Earl's capitol, but was a turn too late. Next turn attacking capitol was already a suicide, so i backed down. Meanwhile Joint forces Destroyed Eskild's last city, he did fled, but Gladis had found his hero and killed him.  Situation became dire for me - 2 vs 1. I did knew I crippled Gladis greatly, however didn't had the strength to make war with Earl's doomstack. Earl actually had destroyed 1.5 stacks I left below, but by that time I had 5 upgraded cities, that could produce decent units, including Shadow Walkers - so I started producing At some point Gladis attacked, and took one of my east cities, but I had scouted beforehand - the ambush had destroyed two of his high-ranked stacks. After that Earl brought his doomstack and left it in the north. For quite some turns I kept forces nearby, waiting for the attack. Then I tried to bottleneck him in the narrow path very north. I did succeed, and it required me much less forces there. Had produced assasins and shadow stalkers non-stop, along with beetles and upgraded goblin darters (with focus chamber they were uber-helpful). Assasins made great scouts - along with my Scouting skills, and counter-scouts in one. Had decreased morale of both adversaries due to successful work of hidden agents <smiletext0> By the turn 70 I realized I needed to act quickly - Gladis had rebuilt razed cities, and it was a critical time to strike. My crows along with assasins allowed me to hide most of my power and approaching armies. Finally I stroke at the southwest and took over all 3 towns. Gladis and Earl tried to rush towards my cities in the north, but I managed to strangle their main attack at the chokepoint. Have been scouting the movement of his forces, and had layed 3 stacks of hidden assasins/SW.  Also had suspected someone might try to surrond me from the top layer of the map, so had my builder build a watchtower for me. It was a good choice, as a heavily exausted stack appeared in 1 day's walk. It was enought time to reroute 9 units top and hide them in the mountains. Meanwhile played a diversion at the gates of the Earl's capitol in the south. Cast bandit plague, while moving my army "south" around the river and the caverns towards the 2-nd Earl's city.  Had destroyed the exausted stack that was going to ambush me, loosing 2 assasins. Earl became weary of the ambushes, and had sent only units 1 by 1. He took my former capital (forgot to tell that i'd relocated it a long time ago <smiletext0>) and when I tried taking it back without watching next turn, ended with the dead city. :'( Had learned my lesson.  In the end, Earl took one more city (I moved my forces away, allowing for him to walk into my ambush, but he was weary this time), and cast the Scorched Earth. Luckily for me I got a critical success on the dispel and took city back.  In the same turn had taken Earl's 2-nd city, and spotted the fleeing 2 stacks south, towards Earl's capitol. Since I couldn't risk of these two armies merging, I attacked these stacks. had also moved reserve stack in the chokepoint to block the access/support assault on the Earl's capitol.  and next turn I was celebrating victory <smiletext0> Anyways, thanks for the game gladis, Earl - it was fun, I actually enjoyed it <smiletext0>

Nice write-up <smiletext1>

It was a very bad decision to walk in that city with my two rather strong stacks that time. After AIX´s raid I was without city for at least 15 rounds, but was able to hide a settler in the very south of UG.  Throw everything up front because I thought both of them want to defend Eskild and had no proper defence of course. So I waited for Earl fighting back AIX and run to my burnt cities.

I think I had bad luck in the beginning. Had only one city which took me quite long to take over.
I moved my main stack in the north to your city, defeated the defenders just to see that you and eskild rolling on reinforcements. As I got a quest at the city beside, I left and vassaled it. But your troops were too strong and I lost some units to roamers so I had to run away.

From this moment to the end I wasn´t able to fight back and you got a lot of funds and units from these cities of course.

At the end we throw too much stacks away cause we didn´t do scouting and your financial and military power made the difference. Frost elementals came to late for me.

Confirmed by Eskild
my role was played out of this game in turn 20 or something, but at least my presence annoyed our opponent team enough so they put a huge concentration of forces upon me, very impressed by this victory of AlX´ - very very nice played...

Hi,

I didn't make any screenshots of the crash, because my PC didn't react in this moment.

I got the message, that eskild captured my watchtower with his leader (He can witness this action). Therefor I scouted with my two stacks, which were located near to him and I saw that he had only 9 units. So I called for tribute, bought 2 units in the inn and gave death march to join the fight (cannon fodder). Then I watched the fight and the game crashed...

Hey guys,

sorry for the restart - I watched the victorious fight between me and eskild - during this my game crashed <smiletext6> memo to me: never stream a movie in the background while playing ^^ I hope the restart is okay for you - I was in majority, so I had to attack eskilds stacks: "Victory was very likely" For sure, I did in the second time exactly the same - In the first fight, I lost the other dwarf pike - so this should be equal I think.
