This match does not count for class/race for team Zia. You have to check the class/race from round 2.

Correct, this match was not played.

Team Zia was available to play from the start.
By the time Shadow and Flame were ready there
was not enough time to play the game.

So no class/race was used.

Confirmed by Lightform
I believe this match was never played ? So a bit hard to give races and classes.

Hi, to be peckish: as glorious team Zia are our next match up, can we get some more details of this report? Like races and classes.

Yes, agreed, we'll change that.

@Hiliadan

The field "Position" on the reporting page maps to
"Result" on the game results page.  It might be
less confusing to use the same term in both places.

I would prefer to see "Result" over "Position" on
the game report page.

My first thought when I saw "Position" was starting
position which I thought corresponded to team number.

@Gilafron,  I believe "position" means your order of finish,
1 => won, 2 => finished in 2nd place.  At first I thought
it was team position, 1 => team 1, 2 => team 2.

I set position and reported the game.

I go to Report Game, but I don't see anywhere to indicate who won.  When I click Next Step, it shows Shadow and Light as winning.

So?

Please click here to read the rules.

In order to avoid advantaging one team or the other, for each match, the team who will host the match was randomly selected. The first team in the "turn order" above (who is also the team on top in the tree here: index.php?page=tourneyroster&tourneyid=5) must host the game.

Any of the players in the team can host. The host must play in #2 position in the turn order (please check rule 2 for more details).
Tournament Game #21 Round 3!

When players do not show up for their match, the Tournament Judges have the right to change the match

Ok, that's because you cannot report a result for an open match. I updated it to Ongoing status, now it should work. I also see with Markymark so that the option is available to report an "Open" match.

I couldn't see where to mark the winner.

user
Publié le Thu, 01 Jan 1970 01:00:00 +0100

Please remember to report that game. <smiletext0>

I have screenshots of screenshots of two games.
I will send them to you in a private message.

user
Publié le Thu, 01 Jan 1970 01:00:00 +0100

Ok, then please report your win with unknown class and race.
@Olop: would you have screenshots of the score of your 4 games?

user

I do not want to decide by points either.

Four of my last 5 victories I actually was losing on points
by a noticeable margin.

I do not want to decide it by score.   Bad luck for them.  C'est la vie.

Hi there! Sorry I wanted to post yesterday but then forgot. Lightform is back with a PC that can play AoW3. It's quite sure you cannot finish your match by the end of round 3. If you want to play it and let it be decided by score, please let us know and let's get it started ASAP. Otherwise it's a WO and Gilafron + Olop win.

user
Publié le Thu, 01 Jan 1970 01:00:00 +0100

If and when the game starts, Olop and I will be ready to go.  We'll submit leaders at that point.  Otherwise, we'll hold on to our choice, just in case we face one of the judges next round.

I don't mind if a replacement from an eliminated team is used for the missing player.  If possible that a replacement exists, it seems better to me if the player replacement comes from an eliminated team as opposed to someone else in the community.  The latter, I think, has more possibility to disrupt the flow and feel of the tournament.

If the match is not played, the class/race chosen for it do not count (so in this case, class/race of round 2 would be considered as the last played for round 4).

user
Publié le Thu, 01 Jan 1970 01:00:00 +0100

Normally I wait till I actually join the game to
send my class/race.  Since the game has not
been created, AFAIK, I have not sent it yet.

If the game is not played, does the class/race
selection count against you?

user
Publié le Thu, 01 Jan 1970 01:00:00 +0100

If one player cannot show up, his team loses the match. So you would get a free win. Hopefully that won't happen.

user
Publié le Thu, 01 Jan 1970 01:00:00 +0100

Hiliadan, what happens if he can't play?

user
Publié le Thu, 01 Jan 1970 01:00:00 +0100

Olop and Gilafron, I think we didn't receive your class/race? Jundland is sending Shadow & Flame's class/race but I'm not sure Lightform can play, I hope he can...

user
Publié le Thu, 01 Jan 1970 01:00:00 +0100

Round 3 has started. Please send your class/race to the judges. Shadow & Flame is hosting. Gilafron and Olop, I advise you to contact them on Steam as they're not very reactive.
