Hi. Can I ask you (and all others) not to pervert/falsify my words in the future? I think it's rude to do such thing not only for me (as an organizer), but also to all other participants (including beginners). And let's admit honestly - most of the beginners (if not all of you) can hardly be called noobs.   So I invoke you to respect each of participants in our tourney club despite on our players skills. 

If you need instructions what to do next - I gave its step by step when answered to Longinus below. If you still have any questions - ask them instead to be rude. 

You asked: "what do you mean with ..." I only wanted to say that I expected a more lively discussion of the tournament these days while I was out. But there was only silence. So if there are no objections with teams membering which I created then you should start to discuss team strategy with teammates and so on. 

Of course, one the main rules (№ 6) is still empty on the rules page - I admit, it's my fault. I was just trying to speed up the start of the tourney. And I already gave my explanations with this rule below. I agree, maybe it was difficult to understand them and there were too harsh conditions in relation to the beginners. So in a try to simplify it, I allow to choose any race for both matches, but still not the same as your veteran-teammate has. Each beginner in the team has to choose his class for the match. All classes in the team must be different. For the second match all team members must change their classes, but beginners can choose any class including the class which was used by the other beginner (not a veteran) in the first match. So beginners may exchange their classes - but it will be very predictable for the opponent team and they may choose some kind of anticlasses. Though you may risk if you want  
If it still is not clear - a changing of your class/race for the second match has the purpose not so much to complicate the playing, how to make your next choice unpredictable for your next opponents.

I want to remind you, that Ezekiel is one of the judges. So if you are his opponent in the match, do not send to him your own and your teammates combos (class/race).

Hi. To force our tourney I finally held the lottery by such way - I took 3 random sites with RNG (random number generator) and then I added all numbers for each participant. So below you can see the results for both lists. Also I had to change IIaanor's statistics list because of the changes since it was announced. 

Veterans (8):

My congratulations for the luckys.   Santil, IIaanor - it's very sad to bring you such news  , I'm sorry - it's all the randomness. Though you still have a chance to play in the main list if someone else doubts or is not confident in his abilities (and wants wait for now), so maybe he will decide to be in the odd list for a while instead of you. 

So there are approximate teams list:

Team1: Jean_de_Metz, Akinos, Nub nub (I had to replace 1-st and 2-nd beginners by Zytozid's request  )

Team2: Ezekiel, DiaEmperador, Longinus 

Team3: AIXStormrage, Zytozid, Fluksen 

Team4: Seer, El-Lobo, Badok 

It looks like I need to clarify one point for all of you - at the group phase each pair of the opposing teams will play only 1 match, so in summary it will be 2 played games for this phase.  That's what I mean all this time, sorry for possible misunderstandings. So the roster, which you can see at the tourney page, is fine for such kind of tourney. 
So each of you still have a time to leave (or join   ) this tournament discussion club before I'll make the lottery for participants. 

P.S. The life is strange thing, and it doesn't forget or forgive any big mistakes 

Thanks for the offer but I am fine without being a judge. However, if there is a case where the judges can't decide/ can't come to a conclusion or if there ar judges missing and you really need someone, then I'll help out. You can be sure that I will judge fairly and unbiased.

Thanks for your observation.    I agree - it's time to change the header to interest more players (especially after the current tourney will start). So for now  I've already changed the end of the header in terms of the rules - so as not to mislead new interested players.   Full change of the header I'll make when I'll be able after finishing the preparing stage for the current tourney.

Skuns you are right, the settings are fine. When you linked "here" at the top I thought this wa the tournament, but you only used the 2v2 tournament rules set as an example. My mistake.

I can now also understand why you want to use PBEM++, thanks for the explanation. I just didn't know anytjing about it and thought: "why use a pbem mod if there already is a balance mod..." but it's fine this way, enhancing supportive games is what lacks a bit in AoW.

Hi. Welcome to our little club.   But were you not mistaken with the address?  We are going to use only 2 mods, not 20 ones 

@Zytozid   I don't understand what you're saying about   About what 1 day timer you are talking? And the rest of your claims is in the same spirit.    On this page I can see another period/words.  Though if you can see there all of that what you described - sorry, I have trouble with my eyes. 

P.S. I'll try to answer your question from your PM. I'll propose to use Hellbrick's PBEM++ mod, because it allows to make team games more friendly and more supportive. The last expression means that this mod improves the interaction between the players in a team by casting some spells on your allies cities etc. I hope that your teammate-veteran can help you to see all of its advantages. Anyway you can see all changes which it makes HERE. 

P.P.S. About your question: "Are you sure the game is more balanced with it? " I can't say anything about the balance for this mod, also I don't like some changes from it. But we have no any other good mods for the team games, so we should say only thanks to Hellbrick that he took the trouble to create this mod, which makes team game more interesting.   I should say that this is only my private opinion, so if you or any other player don't like to use it, you should leave this tourney discussion. The rules were described much long ago, so it's too late to try to discuss/change/cancel this big change at the start of the tournament.  Sorry, if I was rude or something. But it's true.

@Ezekiel   The same for you.  I don't understand why you are not satisfied with 4 slots for 4 teams.  

So honoured Skuns. You say the ship have set sail but there´s only 4 spots so far on the tournament page. I will not spoil your lottery by joining prematurely even though it was very tempting - now that I actually had the opportunity :--)

Edit: A veteran can apparently be mistaken by the logical system of this site. I have played so many games so I have a per default thinking of when joining you do it as a player - not as a team.

Please change the turn timer.
If yo uask me, 1 day is crazy... if you set the turn timer to three days, it does not mean everyone takes 3 days for his turn, it just means no one who cannot do his turn in two consecutive days is skipped. Skipping is a huge disadvantage for a player... and can lead to player leaving/quitting the game, destroying the whole setup and work put into it.
I'd be more generous with the turn timer (I normally use 3 days).

Any other opinions (or people supporting mine) are welcome.
