A game which lasts 65 turns deserves at least a small report. from me too^^ We had a really good communication with DrLight, the teamwork went great and I saved many screenshots which now can become a part of this story.

To begin with, I would like to say that the map in my opinion was absolutely fantastic: full of rich objects, it was equal for both teams. DrLight and I were definitely more lucky with the dwellings, as 3 of 4 were located closer to us than to our opponents. We vassalized them and were able to observe and scout the nearby territories. Though Mark and Sin were unlucky in this moment, they got all the independent towns on their part of the map (3 in total), and 2 of them were quite big and located very close to Mark so he could make them a part of his strong warlord economy.  As for the mythical objects, there were so many of them that I didn't even count (experts would say that the number of these objects is fixed but let me stay a bit delusional

The beginning of the game went bad for my teammate as he lost almost everything in the fights on the objects.  He did manage to take them and started to expand quickly building fortresses but he didn't have any army and some of the roaming sites hadn't been cleared yet. I decided to create a second stack and send it to the underground to help him deal with the lost souls and other stuff. I focused on producing several priests and that was enough. I also took military upgrade for my civic guards which got the trap ability.

Having built temples in both cities, I got a lot of mana to scout with drones but I was way behind in knowledge, so when we first met Sin on turn 20 I didn't even have a Golem...

He was doing pretty well and in 5 turns he was already very close to my domain.

His mana upkeep was big so I presumed he had some summons with the party. I think I had enough armies to defend from him but I had to make sure Sin wouldn't sneak into underground and attack DrLight who was very weak at that point.

Sin had probably scouted my units so he decided not to attack but go to the center of the map where my giant vassal was located. There he could take a level-up statue which I guess he seeked a lot because he hadn't yet acquired level 11 and master illusionist.

I was quite afraid of losing my giant dwelling which had been very generous in giving me quests and even some ogres for free.  Though DrLight summoned a crow to force Sin to fight on auto with the giants, it wasn't safe at all because there was a roaming site with an archon titan spawned. I didn't have any other options but to run to the center (taking another route and building roads to be faster), clearing a wizard's tower on my way (and getting the Light Elemental spell as the reward) and baiting the archons to attack my stack instead of going for the crow.

They did attack me on their turn and even killed a knight but it was worth it: nobody threatened that crow anymore^^

At the same time we started to get some information about where Mark's army could be. At least we saw that some objects were being cleared in that area:

That was very important because I needed to know whether Sin came alone or he was waiting for Mark coming as well.
I also wanted to move to their part of the map as quickly as possible because I didn't want some objects to get into their hands. For example, an orc town which was independent at that moment:

Or 2 wizard's towers which were located near a regrowth shrine (!) and could present Mark a powerful summon.

So I was slowing moving there on the surface taking some mythical objects on my way

I sent my leader to the underground because there was a dragon dwelling there which wasn't scouted by our opponents.

I knew that Sin would try to attack me with floating/flying units and, of course, I couldn't compete with him. I didn't like the idea of being harrassed from the water not being able to catch his stacks. That's why I decided to absorb the dragons, clear all the roaming sites nearby and try not to reveal my plan: go into red dragons (Sin's frostling were vulnerable to fire). I also started  to search for an item which could give my leader flying.

Sin took the statue, became invisible but his presence was revealed by some things: for example, a wyvern which just couldn't appear at this place in any other way but being summoned by the leader.

I decided to kill it with 2 units baiting Sin and forcing him to reveal himself. Yes, he was there:

We were still able to follow Mark's movement here:
And we knew where Sin's theo army went:

My army on the surface was heading here:
I knew Mark was there too but in general I wanted to try to at least "block" him: not to allow him pass the bridge and get to the center of the map. I wanted to make sure I would fight only one opponent - Sin - at that time.
My plan with the dragon dwelling worked perfectly:

Sin captured one of my cities and I couldn't defend it.
But I tried my best to catch him

Pressing Mark here:

Razing his town:

Yeees =)

That was at least something to fight Sin.
He was flying near my other cities and I was waiting. The biggest problem for him was that he was still revealing himself due to one simple thing: he just had to choose one unit from his invisible stack and scout what was in front of him: otherwise he could have been caught. And this scout didn't have invisibility and therefore triggered the "there was an entrance into your domain" notification.
With a dragon it became easier:
I tried to catch him several times and always lacked just one hex

But finally I succeeded: I was forced to attack almost 1 vs 1 due to the lack of the movement points.
The first party died:
But the second succeeded:

Sin was horribly weakened by this loss and it became even worse for him when I took the cosmic event preventing him to cast. I decided to counteattack him with everything I had including the dragons which I started to produce quite soon. That's why my theo army was going by water sometimes disembarking to take good objects.
The most important thing was that Mark was still blocked by it: he couldn't leave with many forcers since I would have attacked him immediately.

My domain was save, I rebuilt the city and built another one soon.
Was going for advanced logistics to make my flying units faster.

Maneuvers here:

It turned out that Mark had gone into mass production of powerful eagles which just proved my plan to be right: there wasn't any point of continue building machines when everyone else was flying =)
I didn't attack him (a complete suicide) and sailed further.

My leader stack (I did manage to find an item which gives flying^^):

My army sailed and arrived to Sin's throne city but there was no point in hurrying especially because I saw Mark coming to help Sin.

I managed to train my dragons to elite while coming to Sin:
I really don't know what he could have done at this point. I had a superstrong leader stack with a perfect vision with true sight.

Basically I simply managed to overpower Sin with the force of the armies in the late game. Mark was doing very well with the eagles but he was too passive and the game was all about my confrontation with Sin Arcain.  DrLight helped me a lot with scouting and resources and he managed to capture a town in the underground which also distracted our opponents' attention for a while.
I think we all played well here. Was a lot of fun for me to play with such great guys! Thank you.

This game felt really long, even though it was only 66 turns. I am not sure whether that is long for a 2v2.

What I can still remember from the start is that I thought I was doing pretty good. I was originally quite happy with my starting location, aside the scarcity of mana nodes: a big half island, which on land were only accessible through Marky. Once I had four cities there, however, I realized I couldn't expand more. North was all Marky's, and my only choice would have been over the surrounding water but that would have been way too far to defend to my liking. So, I didn't expand.

The first half of the game was quiet, aside the ocassional scouts. I crossed the waters with my leader army and cleared some easier sites southwest from Jean's domain. He also had a Giant dwelling. Originally I wanted to try to take it but I didn't like my chances against the 6 Ogre defenders (maybe there was some more standing a hex away) in autocombat (DrLight's pesky crow was there), especially since my plan was to attack Jean's cities afterward, and I didn't want to lose units. In retrospec I should have attacked the dwelling then because later it just became too strong, and Jean got too many Ogres and even a Giant from it.

Instead I split my armies, because I got Invisibility on my leader, so tried to see if I can scoop in and take a few cities. Unfortunately for me, Jean had a surprisingly good defending army (lvl-ed Cannons, Engineers, and some Priests), and it could reach most of his cities within two turns. I could only take one of his newer and smaller cities. At this point I had a couple of Eldritch Horrors, and were to summon more, but Jean kept "draining" my leader's CPs off turn. While we were playing hide and seek, and CP management games he got some Obsidian Dragons out of the blue. I was certain I dealt with any support that could see my invisible army as I was making my way out, but I was wrong.

He dealt with the survivors in a follow-up combat, which I didn't make screenshot of.

While I still had my Theo hero with a decent army, I didn't see a lot of chance, from my part, to be able to outrpoduce Jean military wise, and defeat him. He had tough home defense, he had three stacks, lead by two heroes, cruising around Marky, and he had his leader, presumably, with a good army too. The cosmic event, which prevets CP replenishment, following after the return of my leader didn't help either.

I started to build Ice Queens to have something(!). In the meantime Jean's three stacks, after destroying Marky's vassal in the north, set sail instead of attacking Marky. It occured to me that he might be coming for me. Which he did, eventually after taking a scenic route. I didn't see the point of trying to return my Theo for defence, instead I did some quests underground for my Vassals, after getting back my Orc vassal from DrLight.

Marky was following Jean's army movement on the shore, evenetually arriving near my throne. Jean didn't attack for a few turns. I figured out he was waiting for the arrival of his leader army, which I saw only a glimpse of. I didn't try to defend my throne on my leader because I knew I didn't have a chance, instead I figured, I could maybe.. maybe.. stop Jean's leader army before meeting up with the rest of his. I didn't manage to ambush him, instead it happend the other way around, and he had more (and better) than what I thought he had.

The end. I think it was a turn later when he defeated Marky's armies too.

Congratulation to our opponents, and especially Jean, for defeating the armies of two!

I am happy you are alright, Sin!

The coincidence is a bit incredible but starting from today's night I am feeling very bad, I have high blood pressure, tachycardia, a headache and I can't sleep. I probably need some rest too, sorry if I don't make any turns in the upcoming several days. If I feel good at some point I will play them.

The other army of Jean, going for the quest dragon. There may be a third stack I couldn't scout without possibly losing my hunter.

@Mark  Not at all  I have enough games for now, though 1 of them is going very slow last time, by coronavirus strategy maybe   I'm only saying that Jean is strong enough to play 1v3 against all of you <smiletext5>  But if you'll try to return to halfling strategy, maybe your team will have a chance to win   <smiletext1>

@All  Have fun, I hope Jean will give you time enough for it

But Mark is very experienced and strong enough, I think. It will be a good training game for all of us, I also need to return to my previous level, I have lost it.

I will be happy to play with DrLight in team.
