I would´ve gone that way, but I felt I am still too week and my scouting wasn´t good enough for getting all Information about your defence. First, I failed one turn to Level my leader (to gain convert) and let him be killed in an Orc-dungeon. Without that loss and the possibility of a free T3, I may would´ve been able to attack you and make some damage.

But you had those Units who killed my scouting+inn attack at this City NE of the Archons, too <smiletext1>
But like I said, maybe I was still too cautious.

I moved all Units to my stacks in the East of UG but my plan didn´t work out due to the fails I mentioned above.

But good to hear that my resistance lasted longer than those of your other rivals <smiletext0>

Maybe we are getting drawn to each other in the next tournament.
I´m happy with a break to the end of the year right now.

PS My leader wasn´t able to cast in the dungeon due to the dumb fight at the NW of your empire. I thought that you build your fortress two hexes away of the position of my Scout. Maybe you wouldn´t have noticed and attacked him in this case. But those Little Things can decide a game, too xD

I don't think it was as one sided as you make it out to be :p it's been the longest 1v1 I played by far and that means something about how hard fought has it been
I believe you had a window of opportunity around turn 25, if you pushed straight east past the archon dwelling I had only my leader stack (which was only him and wolfriders) to try and stop you. That would have costed me a couple of cities for sure and hurt a lot.
And yeah, I was surprised at the amount of freedom I had on the surface, that allowed me to clear a lot of sites and build a secondary army just buying stuff at inns and getting rewards from dungeons. I think you should have contested that.
Anyway, it was an enjoyable and tense game and you really got better since the last time we played. Thanks for the game and looking forward playing you again!

Game over

Well played, Fist! I hope you´re ok with my quit that avoid you from running over my cities with your Yetis and co .

I was very aware that I will be attacked at your City, but it was my only Chance to put pressure on your site and I did everything to minimize the Impact of your "trap" but at the end all efforts were worthless.

It´s very tough or impossible to beat someone who gets those Strong stacks so early. Maybe I should´ve been more courageous in Clearing as well. So I ended up with no stack ever going on Surface and some well levelled but weaker Units in UG waiting for an error of my Opponent. But that´s a rare Thing to happen I guess..

Nevertheless I think it was a good final with a worthy winner <smiletext1>

We could finish the game this week I think, since I´m on Holiday at home and want to finish my ongoing Matches
I´m pretty sure who will win this. Although I´m quite happy with my game so far, I know that some small mistakes will prevent me to gain the whole honour at the end <smiletext1> At least I did better than last time and put some headache on the Fist (I think..)

I´m busy These days, but will try to play my turn tomorrow.
Time shouldnt be a problem I think.
It´s one of my last games I play this year, since I need a break

I'm away for the week-end too and probably couldn't play either during that time. We'll resume on monday, no problem at all <smiletext0>

I have no cluw about debug mode

user
Published on Thu, 01 Jan 1970 01:00:00 +0100

Mmh, to help fully solve the issue with this bug, it would have been useful to start in debug mod and go to the screen where it gives you the Ironman notification. Triumph supposedly fixed the issue in v1.705 but they were not sure so we should provide them with as much information as possible.

Ok then I guess I add 1 reload warning for you Gladis. I can't right now because my internet is pretty bad (on business trip) but I'll do that ASAP.

I got the Problem with iron mode notification on the first try to start the turn in the last round.
I forgot to turn off the timer and to wrote it here. Informed Mark though.
Fist didn´t noticed it or didn´t care?
He has played his turn already.

I restarted steam but it didn´t help.

Yes, it's very simple. You just open the "settings" tab of the game and there is a "revert" button.

Your issue was caused by the bug which happens very often when there is a turn timer set before the game starts. Usually, it's better to set the turn timer only after the 1st turn has been played. I'm going to report that to Triumph, they can probably fix it for v1.705.

I never did this, is it easy? But it doesn´t matter.

You could just have reverted the turn. <smiletext1>

Ok, then I just end my turn without any Actions as well <smiletext1>

Published on Thu, 01 Jan 1970 01:00:00 +0100

Nope, I didn't, I entered my race and then the game was waiting for the host to start it but apparently skipped my turn before giving me the chance to play.

It doesn't matter, it's been a pain already to set it up, let's play.

Had a missclick on "Default" at the end of Setup and forgot to put Seals off again <smiletext6>
But the other stuff is just sick..
SO I have to set it up another time :/

lol, did you join a live MP game? Looks like something's wrong!! Very strange!

Published on Thu, 01 Jan 1970 01:00:00 +0100

This is what I see when I try to join.

I think Seals victory should be off and I'm not sure about the whole simultaneous turn mode and the tactical combat against humans set to Always ask...

Is it ok? I'm confused..

PW: Final

Published on Thu, 01 Jan 1970 01:00:00 +0100

You should start as soon as you're ready :p

I think game is with no mod, if you want to use it and the other judges are ok with it I'm fine too.

When should I start it?
The rules say without any mod, right?
But I wouldn´t mind to Play with the mod
