hmmm?
So I can't recreate my disaster from earlier this week. I have tried twice now and I keep doing much better. What I gather is I fared poorly with shooting stars since morale clearly favors Johnny. I didn't get to watch the replay before it died, but I have seen my failed attempts to replay it. I also realize how clearly I misplayed this turn. I attacked Johnny leader stack, and he won with two units left his leader and hero. My attempts to recreate have went the other direction. What I propose is this I will disband my dragons and eagle rider, suicide my leader into his stack, then Johnny just needs to disband his other units there. Also I would like to run a video of this turn showing different moves to be done. It is a turning point turn, and I think there is a point to be made about playing with confidence, and approaching with patience. The video certainly won't paint me in a flattering light, but I think it could be interesting and helpful to others. Thoughts?

I actually tried to play my turn in this one on my work laptop and it was a disaster, So I just need to wait until I get home.

It's fairest to autobattle everything vs the AI and don't accept their surrender. I didn't realise it until I got shamed on this site when I did it. I told them that next time they better first talk to someone...

In the end we worked it out and it was all good.

Alright, lesson learned. I will keep that in mind. Sorry for being careless about it. I´ll kill the Blech hero that surrendered. Fighting the AI is really like fishing in the aquarium if i think about it.

I havent had any fights with the AI so It's not like it affected me so no problem here, but as cbower mentioned in a next situation it's better for the other players to agree on how to deal with an player that has been replaced by the AI.

Personally I am not bothered by accepting the Ai surrender, I enjoy our games, and I think your an honorable guy, but it is worth noting for future games that such action is frowned upon in general here, as Kwibus pointed out.

As i´d like to have three kids, i´d hope to have them around 1,5 years apart. But let´s see how it plays out.

Indeed i accepted the surrender of the Blech-AI, did not think about it at all. I saw it in several other games so i thought it´s just part of the game.

How to proceed? Of course, we should unite against cbower ;-) He knows all tricks and will give us hell, you should not miss that. My empire is a economic powerhouse now, but i a normal fight my armies will stand no chance against those tough dwarfs with the deadly fire cannons. It´s masses against quality, so how hard can it be? Very, i guess.

Happy to hear the 3 years in between is working out well. I'm really curious how it will work out as most people around us had 2 kids in a row.

Keep in mind that when I withdraw you guys have an agrresive AI next to your lands as well.

I'd like to hear what Johny thinks first before I decide.

Congrats to both of you guys. My kids are about 3 years apart too, 4 and 7. I find it ends up being a pretty good spacing. They are close enough to play together, but enough of a gap that takes the edge of the sibling rivalry.

It is ok
I have found my footing I think, if you guys want to go 2v1 against me that may make for the most fun. I am not sure I can win it, but I don't mind giving it a shot. I think my armies might be stronger, but I think Johnny has built a very large empire. I really don't have that much insight into where you are Kwibus, I am some what boxed in, and it is difficult to move as dread. So I have some real liabilities in this game. I haven't scouted enough either.

I gather Johnny has most of the central and west of the map. and his empire is really starting to emerge. If it continues to grow, that might be the end, so I am taking my armies at Johnny, as I just don't think I have much choice. You can join Johnny or stay to pick up the pieces. I am not in a rush and I don't think Johnny is either. I understand if you want to withdraw to get a little more time back. I am fine with whatever you decide. Just letting you know you have options if you want to stay.

The fact we lost our 4th player to inactivity has brought this game out of it's balance.

Johny and me agree that cbower is the best player, but he also chose to play dreadnought which is a hard class to play. Still... the first 2 players that fight eachother pretty much lose vs the 3rd player that builds up during the others war.
Johny and me could gang up on cbower, but that doesn't feel right. If cbower was a dirty player it would be different, but you are far from that

So I propose to withdraw from this game for you 2 to fight it out. I'm enjoying this game, but I'm also very limited on time right now and got 6 games running which is a bit too much right now so leaving one would be best for my real life situation. I don't like leaving, but in this game I think it will only improve the quality of it.

On another note: I noticed that the AI player surrendered. The last time I let an AI surrender to me I directly got bad attitude votes. While in my naivity I didn't realise what I did wrong, but when fighting vs an AI in an multiplayer game it's not cool to manual fight them or accept their surrender proposal. It makes sense as it's a huge benefit for someone to fight the AI while others fight humans.
Since I wasn't aware of that I think someone of us isn't either.

Grats Johny! Is it your first one?

I also have a 3 year old which keeps me occupied at day time and the little one during the nights haha. If I didnt have the 3 year old I would have plenty of time during the day. Ofcourse this isnt a problem, besides not being able to play my turns fast, but thats not really important <smiletext1>

Don't worry about restarts. I trust you 2 pretty much completely.

There are some I have my doubts with, but we all get our restarts so it's impossible to proof.
