I hardly agree that the first big battle was the point where you prevailed. I should have been more cautious at this point of the game because I could have cast a phantom warrior every two turns and the WL couldn't cast anything at the front line. Easy to say this afterwards... It is like it is. Maybe we'll met again in this tournament. Good luck and congrats again.
EDIT: My last message was just about this tight battle between your scout and a hero. It was not my leader who fought this one.
Thanks for the game, well played. Very nice that we could play our turns relatively fast. I could not read your last in-game message... I clicked the statistics button, and from there I can only exit the game (such a dumb 'feature').
I guess our first battle was the tipping point. If your main army could have grown a bit more at that speed you were going, I wonder how things would have gone .
I did not have the best start either, with my leader actually dying at lvl 3... This really took out the tempo in the early game. I was a bit worried when I found out you were draconian sorcerer; that would seem the perfect counter to my warlord. Still, I could get a reasonable income with all the neutral towns I befriended far and wide. They even got me 2 tier 2 fey units, which came in very handy, with some useful damage channels.
In our first battle, I was quite impressed with your high-level heroes (all matches before this one, my opponents were many levels behind me), and I did not dare attack you while you had that frost buff on you. But once that was gone I really thought my army would be stronger (computer also said Probable Victory), because of my ranged units. But only losing one tier I unit, that was a bit harsh on you. And Star Fires, yes, that is a frustrating spell to have on Sorcerer. Been there .
But, you will be delighted to know that the AI just did something very very stupid last turn, in your favor ;-). How about my leader running head first, into an army, no one really following him, just to use his wailing howl (or something) item, to lower your morale.. Oh my! Enjoy that replay! Â (and thanks for the phantom warrior ). Maybe if my life-steal item would have arrived (1 more turn) things would have gone differently ;-)
Yes, I saw your damage resistance was going quite well, and you had a fast run to lvl 13! Still, my armies are mostly physical, which you did not have too much for.... yet... In the mean time I am also building resistances...
Well, you are definitely a good player, so thanks for the game!
I have had a really bad start. My leader reached level 2 in turn 9. Don't ask any questions...
Anyways I have had a really good midgame and met SpiritSeekers main army around turn 20. Imo our armys were closely matched and I positioned my army on a bridge where he can attack me. I did not consider that some of his units could reach the mountains and therefore my 2nd stack started from far behind. My fault and additionally the AI did a really shitty battle for me and I hardly wrecked.
I considered losing this battle and losing wouldn't be a problem if 3-5 enemy units would have survived. Loosig just a shitty t1 shredder was a bit rough. My leader with inflict stun and my AD with 12 range damage didn't do a single shot in this battle. My leader cast star blades and other shit and my AD used nourishing meal and then died quickly.
I tried my best and things went not that bad even if I lost my throne and all my cities. My plan was to clear many high level sites with my invisible leadersteack and then create a hero with full or nearly full resistance to all damage channels. Additionally I was researching on the stun ability for all support units but it took about 16 turns without any cities.
I managed to get to 100% resistance on 4 channels but in my last turn (40) i wrecked hard in a lost city. In one turn 3 of my units, 2 elite apprentices with 13 resistance and a defending phantom warrior also with 13 resistance, were seduced. At this point the battle was lost because my 3 remaining units can't kills 3 naga matriarchs in one turn. Additionally the glutton did not attack my bait and joined all the other units. After this hard defeat I have no chance to clear more high level sites and get items to create an undefeatable leader.
All in all this was not my best game but this shouldn't degrade SpiritSeekers performance. He played well and AI always uses pounce and throw net. For auto battles tigrans are really good. Thanks for the game and congrats again!

It says I am using an old version of the Strong Defender Normal Rewards mod. But I am using the same version as the last two games, and there is no newer version as far as I know...
El_Lobo, are you using the latest version?
Hiliadan, do you have any idea?
Currently, I cannot continue :-(.
