No offense , but i do not think there is an issue with the mod ,

i will hazard a wager that if u put turn timer back on 1-day and it skips personian ....that i will be able to play my turn

Issue is being solved. I contacted Eomolch and he answered, I told him today how to solve the issue. Should be ok tomorrow or soon.

I checked your error message again and I think the only issue is with the Hero Development Mod. I'm contacting Eomolch to try to solve this by letting him update the mod. The new versions on the 2 other mods should not be issues. You'll just update the game with the newer version when you can play your turn.

Thanks for the help guys.  (And sorry about the grumpy tone of my earlier messages--just frustrated by my inability to fix this problem...)

I can confirm that I haven't been running in Beta or Debug (although I did try them both to see if they helped fix the issue, but to no avail).

I can also confirm that I'm running v 1.705 now. (Auto-updated via Steam)

In my mods I have checked PBEM (unofficial) balance mod, hero development mod, dark elf dwelling, racial heritage mod, and hero professions mod.  (The same mods I used for my first two turns in this game.)

Still stuck, and still having the same mod versioning messages I mentioned in my earlier messages.

Not sure where to go from here guys; i can't think of anything else I can try.

That's exceptional, that's because Triumph updated the game to v1.705 officially. So did you update to v1.705 already? You are NOT running on beta or on debug mode, right?
Maybe Eomolch needs to update the "Hero Development Mod" to make it compatible to v1.705.

So no, it does not mean you need "a revision tree of each of these mods to get this right" or that you "can't ever "update" my mod list".

Sounds like a fun mess to deal with , ive already updated my pbem balance mod , and likely you will still need tor run things on "open beta" it might ask for you to upgrade when u try to play turn..... alternatively since the previous "beta" has just become STANDARD ... try running the same mods on the NON-BETA version when u launch AoW3 from the steam library assuming u bough through steam..

Major Mod Versioning Issues
So I'm not sure what to do from here.

Getting three different mod versioning problems now, can't seem to solve it by unsubscribing/subscribing from the original list of 5 mods.  

Here are my problems:

"You are running a newer version of these mods:

PBEM (unofficial) balance mod (1.17 BETA)
Dark Elf Dwelling

You are running a different version of these mods:

Hero Development Mod"

Again, starting from scratch doesn't seem to help; do I seriously have to go through a revision tree of each of these mods to get this right?  And does this mean I can't ever "update" my mod list for fear of this game not running right?

Well, it's not hist fault, that's because of the revert and the mod update in the meantime. I send him a PM with instructions (that I had sent in the chat but they weren't read there I think). Hopefully it should work, and then rrrrookie should be able to play without the debug mode.

Yes , the issue is most likely to do with if you are running the game on BETA from the steam launcher.

I asked SeeR, who has more experience with games with many mods, if he had any idea why that would do that. I don't understand why the 2 Eomolch's mods appear here since they haven't been updated for a month.
I'm reverting the turn to see if when Dread sends it again it solves the issue or not. If not, I'm afraid we'll have to restart. The good thing is that it's only turn 1.

It's weird! The balance mod was updated yesterday so it's normal that it says you have a newer version but in theory you should be able to launch the download of the turn and updates the game for everyone. For the 2 Eomolch's mods, I don't know. Maybe try to Update all the mods? Or remove them and re-subscribe to them? I write to you on the chat.

personian, I saw your message about the Theo hero through the PBEM email system. Could you please share its name? I see 2 potential cause for the false advertisement: 1/ conflict between the balance mod and Eomolch's mods, 2/ Eomolch's mod bug. In both case, we should report it to him so that he can look for a solution.

Launched! Have fun all!
First turn of my first game with Eomolch's mods, it's refreshing! I'm eager to see how it works in practice, the new buildings and units look strong but maybe I overestimate them. One reason I wanted to try them is that I thought it would be a good idea to integrate them in the Shadow Realm expansion (Initial progresses on the Shadow Realm community-made expansion). I'd be interested by your opinion on them during and at the end of the game.
