I talked with NobCob and thought he'd do his turns, and then I was busy the last time myself. I didn#t want to put the turn timer on when it's his turn because it would skip him again, as it did once. When it was my turn I mostly forgot to put a turn timer because I immediately dobule click and do/send my turn asap.

After the deadline, if it's not my turn I wait until it is and as I am last in turn order (I guess); what I need to do is:
Wait until it's my turn, do it but do NOT send it but save & exit (damn, I hope I don't accidentlysend the turn because is such a strong automatism in my head) and save in backup. Then I get back into it, surrender and send you the scores.

NobCob hasn't done his turn(s) fast in the PBEM tournament. What should we do? We haven't even met, yet. NobCob had some private issues I think why it was hard for him to do his turns timely.
Will then simply the score decide?

@NobCob if possible, please do your turn(s) fast(er) in the future. Our match really didn't go beyond super early phase and I checked if it was my turn most days (mostly multiple times a day).

The deadline is 2019-08-06 10:22 PM (GMT+3 if I'm not mistaken). For the player on slot #2 (so should be the host), he has to follow this procedure AFTER the deadline so that we can decide score victory:
1/ AFTER the deadline, the strategic turn is played until the last player in the turn order
2/ that player plays his turn, saves & quits, copy the save game to a backup folder
3/ that player re-enters the game and surrenders, then takes screenshots of all the scores (general, domain, research, military, happiness). He does NOT end the turn. Instead he quits the game without ending the turn.
4/ he sends the screenshots to judges (Marcuspers, Jonny Thunder and me)
5/ judges check the scores and take a decision

I do not play this tournament to win it but for fun and I see no value in cheating or gaining an unfair advantage, it only would make a victory worthless to me, should I achieve it with unfair advantages. That being said: Happy to continue the game!

Hi! Zytozid, you got a warning equivalent to warning without proof of crash, which is in line with previous similar cases where reverts happened. We know you likely acted in good faith but we need to be coherent with past and future cases.

NobCob, you can then proceed and do your turn. Let me know if you need more time at best via Steam, then I'll switch off the turn timer. I'll swicthit on after you have done your current turn.

Yep, please do that and let me know. As I also said I actually read through all rules again this time before starting the tournament, still forgot about that one when I saw NobCob was skipped. I just reverted it reflexively, didn't want to gain an anufair advantage. Anyway, I hope every mistake I make, I make only once and maybe in a few tournaments I'll actually not do any of these formal mistakes  

There are very good reasons why turn reverts are forbidden. I know it's very frustrating to get one's turn skipped, or feel very unfairplay to let an opponent skips his turn, but that's the way it is.

Okay, I pause the game and won't do my turn. If you can check this in the logs you will see that I reverted the turn when it was mine and NobCob was skipped. I never started my turn but reverted it immediately because it feels unfair to me if NobCob is skipped without me knowing why.

Rule 3: "If a player skips his turn because of the timer, it is not allowed to revert the turn: the host should remove the turn timer and players should notify judges and wait for their indications on how to continue."

Turn reverts are forbidden. Let me check with other judges what we do.

NobCob didn't do his turns in quite a while. I reverted a round and set off the turn timer and wrote him on Steam. NobCob, maybe you can let me know here what's going on/how long you're gone?

Zytozid, the geography settings need to be updated to 40% Mountain, Wetland and Barrens, see rules. Also, do you confirm you're using the Tournament Edition of the balance mod + the SDNR mod?
