I'm jealous of his vacation.  Sounds like a good amount of time to be off.    

I don't have a preference one way or the other.  May 24 will roll around fast enough for me, but I understand if folks want to get started sooner.

Hello all,

I will be on vacation starting next week.  I'll be unable to play my turns from 8 May to 24 May.  Since we have barely gotten started and it is going to be a pretty long vacation, maybe I should offer my spot to somebody else (AIX Stormrage?) and drop out.

We need a 2 day timer for sure, when I came home from work I had 5 hour left on the timer!

I'd like to request a two day timer.  I play most of my turns within 24 hours, but sometimes I can't make it.  And generally those times I can't request an extension or the host won't be able to respond in time.  I'll rarely ever miss on a two day timer.

You are right. It has been a long while. I suggest we start with a 1 day turn timer to get things going - people should then post here on the blog if it will be too difficult for them to make their turns within due time.

Whats is the hold up in this game?
7 days since Fluks last message, and I assume 7 days since Dreadreaprs turn?
There was others willing to play, so I say turn timer on and if no progress is made, kick the dead weight.

Hei I ended my turn but somehow the upload didn't work. Had to cancel it, re-enter the turn and press the "end turn button again". First time I have this so I don't know if you get any messages. If so sry.
Also just to make sure: We are not supposed to haggle for truces or trade at any time is that right?

Not likely. I hosted the game and it´s good to go (still waiting for gilafron). If you decide to start something new I would like to chip in though.

Rehosted the game including that compatibility mod - same settings and password. We will probably wait for Gilafron until friday unless some of you have an immediate substitute.Thanks Hiliadan.

Empire building is compatible with the balance mod, so we should be fine.

From the description of New Arsenal it seems like some of the introduced new units are broken (which I read as too overpowered) so I will prefer that we skip it.

I will host the game with the balance mod, empire building mod and the PBEM++ mod soon.

If you have any objections let me know.

Map settings will be as described - and pretty much like in the tournaments besides being on a large map. Perhaps I will tune down on barrens, mountains and wetlands down to 40-45% as suggested by Hiliadan for the tournament.

Ezekiel Bowl
Too long time since Rrrrookie has hosted his last bowl so guess I can go my own ways. This is supposed to be a 6 player FFA - players will be asigned teams in order to avoid alliances even though informal truces can not be avoided.

When all players have joined we can discuss which mods to use.

Game will be played on a large map - continents but with limited amount of water - and with underground.
