Hi to all fans of AoW3. We started this discussion to see how many players are interested in this format of tournaments. You are a veteran or a beginner on AoW3? It doesn't matter, you are welcome to join this discussion pool.  After joining this discussion pool, please define your skill level - are you a veteran or a beginner, - to simplify future unite in teams. If you are not registered yet on this site or don't want to register in the near future, you still have a chance to participate in this tourney. Please contact this players via Steam: skuns687lirik539; via GOG: Skuns249Lirik176, - to say about your interest in participating on this tournament. It will be a small tournament with only 4 teams, where each team consists of 3 players: 1 Veteran + 2 Beginners. And there will be 2 phases: group phase - 2 matches between random opponent teams, final phase - semifinal for 3-rd place and final for 1-st and 2-nd places. It seems we are 15 players, so that's probably not enough to account also for replacements. 
But the lack of beginners is an even bigger problem, as that was if I understood it correctly, the main bulk of players needed!
If people are eager to get started, maybe it would be better to classify players as "elite", "veteran" and "beginner" and try get 4 teams in that way. At least Jean and AIX is elite, so just 2 more needed!

I'm thinking that then; each team consist of 1 player from each classification, to try balance it.

As for the class/race rules, I interpretate it as: 
1) no team should have more than 1 of the same class or race in the same game
2) no team-member shall play the same class or race in two consecutive matches - but can use the same as a team-member from previous game

Example game 1: Player one Dwarf/Warlord, Player 2 Tigran/Druid, Player 3 Human/Rogue
Example game 2: Player One can pick everything except dwarf or warlord, player 2 everything except tigran or druid, player 3 everything except human or rogue.

I'm probably a Beginner with more than average experience but still a beginner, DiaEmperador is a Beginner and never played with our tournament rules etc.

And if two Players play the same class or race in the same game? So 50% of the same combination? That is lacking in your tabel I think

I think that it's meant like this. In the first match everyone can play any combination of class and race exept the ones the teammates are playing.

                           Noob 1                         Noob 2                         Vet

1st match      Dwarve/Theocrat            Elve/Arch Druid        Tigran/Necromancer

2nd match      Tigran/Warlord              Halfling/Rogue          Human/Necromacer

--> Allowed.

                           Noob 1                         Noob 2                         Vet

1st match      Dwarve/Theocrat           Elve/Arch Druid       Tigran/Necromancer

2nd match      Elve/Arch Druid              Halfling/Rogue           Human/Necromacer

Allowed because for Noob's its not forbidden to play a combination a team mate played in a match before.

                           Noob 1                         Noob 2                         Vet

1st match      Dwarve/Theocrat           Dwarve/Theocrat       Tigran/Necromancer

--> Not allowed because Noob 1 and Noob 2 are playing the same combination.

                           Noob 1                         Noob 2                         Vet

1st match      Dwarve/Theocrat            Elve/Arch Druid        Tigran/Necromancer

2nd match      Tigran/Warlord              Halfling/Rogue           Dwarve/Theocrat

Not allowed because the Vet is playing the combination Noob 1 played in the first match.

Am I right?

Hi, 

Can someone, please, explain what does point 6 mean:

6. In one match all players of each team can't play the same class/race. And in the second match players must change their combo, though in one team beginners (not a veteran) can play by the combo which was used by their team's partners in the previous match;  


Best would be with the examples

Okay, The only one of my friends who also isi nterested atm is DiaEmperador and he joined, which is nice.
Others are too busy atm because of life or have enough games going for their taste so they'd be interested but not this time.

I really really like the setup, however I do not have others that would like to play with me so far. I also do not have tooo much time, so it wouldn't be too bad for me if I miss this tournament..but I would love to play with friends/other noobs and one veteran in the game!

I will ask some others whether they are interested to join in with me, please do not start just yet (:
