Skuns, I find your complaints about the position very baffling. If you don't believe me and other players, just try to generate 10 maps without map exploration and see for yourself.
And you don't really seem to understand that the maps were made square precisely to make it the same when you start north-south instead of west-east. So yeah, it makes a lot of sense to switch to square, and your game start is the proof of it. Beside, it has no link with your loss, so it would make sense to stop mentioning it all the time. The distance between the 2 players is significant enough to be able to prepare.

You have scouted two of my cities, so you should know that my throne is somewhere nearby.
Here is the map of my corner. We were not in opposite corners, but I have played few games like this, so I think it is normal for such settings.



I was lucky to catch you with 4 stacks vs 3 stacks and won with small losses and it was game changing battle. But still I was surprised to see big army (3 full stacks) in your throne, so I didn't take a risk to siege it immediately even having better army composition.

I'm still not agree with that the map was the right. And I'm curious, where was your throne on the map?  But Hiliadan said that such throne position is normal. Then why was needing to change the map to square form?
Anyway, that was tough competition and the strongest won <smiletext23>. Good luck in your next games to continue the tourney

Hi.
I have problems with my home notebook. It had not been repaired well last time. So I have to turn off the timer. But no worries, I have a possibility to play my turns at the working week (only not at the weekends). 
I have no idea, how much time will it take. I suppose few weeks. Sorry for the slowing of gameplay. 
I'll let you know if something change and I'll be able to return the timer

Hi! Ok good to go! Ok to have a 48 hours turn timer but please make sure to play within 24 hours and let judges know if the game is not playing fast enough. Skuns didn't finish his game in round 1 before the deadline, let's try to avoid that for round 2.

May I ask to extend turn timer to 48 hours? In most cases I will try to make my turn in 1 day, but unfortunately I can't guarantee that I will be able to do it always in 24 hours this month due to family reasons.
