Hi friends. 
As I can see, all of you are for the new experience with mods, so I suggest this number of mods (I hope it won't be difficult to play with them for you, Red   ) :
1. The main branch of the balance PBEM mod (here)
2. PBEM++ (the mod for the team games, here)
3. Extended Settings mod (here)
I wanted also add number 4. Archon race mod, but it seems it is not balanced for PCs and, maybe, mods compatibility. What a pity.  But it's good that it was discovered at the creation of this session. 
I just created this session on the server. I used PBEM team tourney settings, except there are no Seals and no Unifier victory (2vs2_1, 2vs2_2).
Game name is "2 vs 2 New experiences".

I prefer large maps, but i'm ok with medium as well.

I suggest playing on Medium map. It would be more interesting (for me) than on the Large one. 

id like to play on extended settings mod and try the square medium or large map.
