i had a bad game. it didnt help too that a gold and a mana stash were encircled by cavern walls. so i coudlnt hurry the production hall. only picked up some pace from turn ~6 on. just one gold mine in the area too...

Disappointing game for me. I lost my leader twice in the first 20 turns. I was trying to do too much. I don't think this game made it to turn 30 so I lost my leader 3 times in 30 turns. Phirpo deserved a better tournament from me.

I was shocked that dread was able to launch such an effective cherub rush so quickly and so undetected. That was impressive.

yes, we too already assumed that Dread had a really strong game from what we saw. And after rookie lost he leader for the second time and his hero, which I topped with a desastrous battle on my own where I lost a highlevel hero, we knew it was practically over. but then rookie was too impatient and ignored my warning to build more defenders in his cities. he wanted to quickly reinforce his armies and build more settlers. so you took his capital with cherubs and held it with that mammoth and there was nothing we could do about it. we then just played on for an eventual chance that might come up that we couldnt maybe see yet...

Thank you everyone for the game!

Was an outstanding performance by Dread. From turn 15 and onward it was just evangelists converting, I stopped counting after 10.

Like Dread said, it was just turning interesting, I made a bait with a Sphinx and Sun guard to try get phirpo to attack, and then 6 expert Exalted was waiting on the cave exit to pounce.

I made some videos of my turns, and there is some valuable early game lessons there.
